Where are Pickapeppa products manufactured?

All of our products are manufactured in Jamaica.

What variety of hot pepper do you use in your products?

We use a variety of chili pepper named West Indian Red that is grown here by local farmers. These are bright red in colour and help create that distinctly Jamaican flavour.

Why do you no longer manufacture Hot Pepper Sauce in the small bottles?

We had many requests to provide this product in a larger size because of its popularity. The sauce is still the same – you just get more of it to enjoy!

Are Pickapeppa products suitable for vegetarians?

Yes.

Are Pickapeppa products Gluten Free?

Yes.

Do Pickapeppa products contain any artificial ingredients?

All of our products are crafted from the finest ingredients. They contain no artificial, flavourings, colourings or preservatives.

What preservative do you use in your products?

Our only preservative is vinegar. We manufacture this ourselves using alcohol derived from cane sugar.

What type of salt do you use in your products?

Sea salt from Jamaica.

You do not use tamarind any more as an ingredient in Pickapeppa Sauce?

No. We took the decision to remove tamarind, which was actually only present in very small quantities, because reliable supplies of consistent quality were not readily available. This has not affected the quality or flavour of our flagship sauce
